The Home of Freemasonry in McDonough, Since 1844

If you’re searching for meaning in a world that’s lost its way, you’re not alone.
What you're looking for has been waiting 300 years for you to ask the right question.

Curious About Us?

What Is Freemasonry?

Freemasonry is the world’s oldest and most enduring fraternity, built not on politics or popularity, but on purpose. For centuries, it has brought men together to pursue truth, deepen character, and serve others with humility and courage.

Through ancient ritual, timeless symbols, and a deep sense of accountability, Freemasonry challenges good men to become great—ethically, spiritually, and personally.

Most of us didn’t join for titles or ceremony. We joined because something in us was searching—and we found Brothers who challenged and inspired us.

At its heart, Freemasonry is about:

We’re not here to argue or impress. We’re here to build lives that matter.

From the East

We don’t claim perfection. We claim purpose.

As Worshipful Master of Fraternal Lodge No. 37, I set out to lead with clarity, not comfort. I aimed to restore Freemasonry’s relevance by building a Lodge where every man is seen, valued, and expected to grow.

My values are firm:

We asked: “If our lodge vanished, would our town notice?” Then we built programs, events, and partnerships to ensure the answer was yes.

We removed what didn’t serve the mission. We welcomed new brothers. We taught, learned, laughed, and served. And the Grand Lodge of Georgia took notice. We were honored as 6th Masonic District Lodge of the Year — not because of one man, but because of many who chose to do the work.

This Lodge is alive. This Brotherhood is growing. If your path is leading you this way, we'll leave the light on. Always.

Fraternally,
Jim Robinson
Worshipful Master

What It Takes

You won’t see ads or recruiters here. That’s not how this works.

Masonry finds you when you’re ready. And if you’ve been feeling like something’s missing — like the world’s noise has drowned out your purpose — you might already be looking for what we offer.

If you're a man of good character, of lawful age (over 18) who believes in something greater than yourself, you've already taken the first step. We'll walk with you the rest of the way.

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month.
Dinner is served at 6:30 PM, and guests are always welcome. Always.

Come hungry. Come curious. Come ready to grow.
